The Academy under the guidance of Shaykh Saleem Dhorat, is a centre of religious renaissance, learning and guidance recognised in the UK and the world over. Amongst other activities it provides, religious guidance, information and courses, advice services, da’wah amongst non-Muslims, youth activities and publications. It regularly holds talk and tours for visiting luminaries from around the world and is recognised for it’s monthly English journal, Riyadul Jannah.

The Islamic Foundation is a unique educational, research, publishing and training organisation. The Foundation aims to improve human communication and develop a better understanding of Islam among all people of the world, both Muslims and non-Muslims alike. It has established various specialised research and project units including Islamic resurgence, Christian – Muslim relations, new Muslim projects, Islamic economics, and Quran and Sirah studies. It also houses the Markfield Conference Centre, the Markfield Institute of Higher Education (MIHE) and a publications department that has published around 200 books on topics ranging from Children’s Literature to Islamic Economics and Quran, Sirah and Hadith Studies.

The Islamic Society of Britain (ISB) was set up to provide a vehicle for committed British Muslims to combine their knowledge, skills and efforts for the benefit of one another and British society as a whole, through the promotion of Islam and Islamic values. As well as having many national events and activities, the ISB provides a network of activities at a local level through their various branches. Locally, the Leicester branch has been running now for approx a year and a half, in that time, membership has doubled, and it is now recognised as an important organisation for the Muslim community. holding many programmes for students and the community alike.

UKIA are a Leicester based publishing company established in 1991. Over the years, they have produced numerous titles on Islamic topics ranging from Beliefs, Morals and Manners, Life of the Prophet Muhammad, The Quran, Arabic Course to teach the language, aimed both for children and adults.
