Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam al-Kawthari (daruliftaa.com) shall be speaking and thereafter will hold an exclusive extended question and answer session in which the audience will have a chance to get their questions on marriage and finding/living with one's spouse answered, including those questions many have difficulties in getting answered elsewhere.

Please make the most of this opportunity by attending and having written questions prepared. Please also bring your friends along.

Sisters' Hijab Event - "HIDDEN PEARLS"

The University of Leicester Islamic Society are holding a ladies only evening on 27th November 2006 to promote Hijab (muslim head covering). This is to create dialogue between muslims and non-muslims and to create greater awareness of why in Islam, the Hijab( muslim head covering) is a common practise especially with all the current controversy around the Islamic dress code, it is a much needed event to clear out the mis-conceptions individuals may or may not have about the hijab. Learn more about why Islam tells women to cover up and also how this practise of Hijab is actually preavlent in other religions alike. Come along as there's plently to keep you interested including a three course meal,fashion shows, talks by personalities such as Naeema Roberts, author of "From My Sisters Lips," Rajnaara Akhtar,a local solicitor who is also part of the Pro Hijab Campaign, Poetic Pilgrimage, the UK's first female Muslims Rap Artists/Spoken Word Poets, islamic songs and more. Don't miss out!
So come along and join us in this evening of splendour! It will be held on Monday 27th November, at The Mirage. Doors open at 6.30pm sharp! Tickets are at a bargain price of just £5!
